This policy explains what data is processed when you visit petinsuranceestimator.com (the "site"), operated by Pet Insurance Estimator ("we"). Contact: contact@petinsuranceestimator.com.
Summary
- We do not ask for your name, email or any account. The calculator runs in your browser; what you enter is not sent to us.
- The site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, which may be personalized depending on your choices and location.
- Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent tool before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used. US visitors can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.
Data we process
- Calculator inputs. Species, breed, age, state and coverage are processed only in your browser. If you copy a share link, those inputs appear in the link's address.
- Technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request data to deliver and protect the site. We use Cloudflare's country lookup only to show a notice to visitors outside the US; we do not store it.
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
- Local storage. If you dismiss the outside-the-US notice, your browser remembers it locally. We cannot read it.
- Email. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and keep a record of corrections.
Advertising and Google
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites. Your choices
